The quiet of our peers

A reminder -

Do not allow the silence of others to instill resentment in your message.

Rejoice in others who ARE talking. Not about hate, but about support. About action. About compassion and empathy. About humanity.

There are more of us today than yesterday. Tomorrow, we'll be even stronger. But for that to happen, we must keep talking. The more voices who rise, the more people will listen.

As for your friends who choose to stay silent, remember -

1. Patient
2. Kind
3. Calm
4. Non-threatening
and (most importantly)
5. VOCAL. 

Nothing happens overnight. Be easy. You're doing all you can do. 

Peace is the responsibility of the people, and begins with the choices we make. We must be the change we want to see in our world. Let's do it together.

The system is broken, the country is broken, but broken doesn't mean unfixable. We must keep talking. We must be -

5. VOCAL.

We must spread the word and get more people involved in changing the system from the ground up.
